Hi,
I'll make a simple cover flow gallery in my little website with Flex 3 with the photo on Picasa.

I've used the component "DisplayShelf" and google API for Picasa, but I'not able to connect the DisplayShell to my photo.

Could you send me your source code o try to hel me ?

This is exactly what I needed, the picasaweb flash gallery is poor compared to this?
I would like to report a bug... in Firefox 3 (mac), if you click the fullscreen button while already in fullscreen mode the browser crashes. You need to either hide or deactivate the the button to correct this.
Aren't you going to release the code? If it is flex 3 I could help improve it :)

We are currently using this widget to display concrete forms pictures on our website from our picasa account. You can see that here http://www.wallties.com/formwork_portfolio.htm
This is the best thing since sliced bread!!! Jatin Desai you ask what other sort of functionality we would like to see. I have been using a program call Cooliris http://www.cooliris.com/ I was wondering if you could duplicate that type of navigation into your widget? Once again great widget!!!

Once I saw the full-screen view, i was impressed! Nice. What I've been looking for is a widget similar to that offered at Box.net or Driveway.com that shows each folder name and allows you to browse folders within the widget, and display a slideshow of pictures within those folders. The major downside is that they don't offer a full-screen option. Any ideas for such a widget.

Again great job! I need a few more feature as to show 800px flash photo from a selected album for blogger template header

it can be use to show blogger template photos in one of my picasa album

I hope you are using picasa web album rss feeds for your flash.

needed options
1) thumbnail size (pre-configure height/width e.g. 400x400px)
2) show album title (album title from the start with large font size)
3) album name/id/feeds (picasa album rss feed)
4) scaleImages (new in picasa developer api)
5) maintainAspectRatio (new in picasa developer api)
6) refresh/slide (time in sec)
7) Show caption (photo) -> from the start, album loaded

all other option remain the same(when user zoom-in, it is only one photo)

Suggestion on fullscreen view:
When user scroll the photo using the left/right arrow,
the next photo show appear/slide to the opposite direction rather than random direction.

example when click right arrow, photo will scroll/slide to left direction

For the ones who have read the piece on Jatin Desai's Picasa Web Album Widget, the friend he mentioned is me (devansh patel). What really took me by surprise is that what can a single idea which comes in a spur of a moment does to you. I mean....I just happened to question Jatin (yes, he sometimes gets irritated with my questions as I am a bollywood correspondent..that's what we do for a living - ask lots of q's)whether or not I could post some pictures of bollywood celebs so that my readers / visitors of my blog - www.filmifarmoola.blogspot.com can cherish something different rather than just my articles and interviews and stories. That was enough for the I.T Braineee Jatin to give his c.p.u a bit of brain storming. NOW THIS IS TRUE! He slept at 4am..Yes, 4am. Why? Read on - in four hours he came up with this brilliant widget. So while the rest of us were sleeping, this man was working his butt off in creating one of the best applications for the ones who want to showcase their pictures.
